Synergy SEN Dance for Children with Learning Difficulties
A comprehensive Dance course developed especially for SEND children to keep active and learn a wide mix of dance styles. Children will build confidence, improve posture & flexibility, learn a new skill, relieve stress, improve feelings of wellbeing and boost the immune system. Sessions are varied offering diversity of choice, with plenty of time to learn and understand the movements and routines. By completing this course, children progress with their overall fitness and learn a range of dance moves and techniques.

Vicky
Vicky has been dancing as long as she can remember! She has a BA (Hons) Dance Degree from the University of Chichester and a MA module in Dance Writing & Criticism. She is also a qualified Para Dance UK Inclusive Dance Teacher. For the past decade, she has been working specifically with young people with additional needs. She absolutely loves working with young people, as they continue to inspire and teach her. They always "bring bags of enthusiasm and energy to dance class". Vicky works with children with a range of needs including PMLD and has experience running wheelchair dance classes. She wholeheartedly believes in a neurodiverse society and the power of community. Vicky leads for Synergy both online and in our SEND schools - she brings sunshine and joy to the children she teaches.
