Dance for Juniors with Autism

These workshops are designed for SEND students aged 7-11 years to enrich their activities at home or at school. Children are encouraged to bring their own props to class and to expand their range of skills and understanding in a topic-based framework. Benefits include improved posture, confidence, fitness, range of mobility, toning and learning new dance skills. This mini-workshop bundle includes Ballet, Space, The Weather, The environment, The Jungle, the Seaside and Places.

Vicky
Vicky has been dancing as long as she can remember! She has a BA (Hons) Dance Degree from the University of Chichester and a MA module in Dance Writing & Criticism. She is also a qualified Para Dance UK Inclusive Dance Teacher. For the past decade, she has been working specifically with young people with additional needs. She absolutely loves working with young people, as they continue to inspire and teach her. They always "bring bags of enthusiasm and energy to dance class". Vicky works with children with a range of needs including PMLD and has experience running wheelchair dance classes. She wholeheartedly believes in a neurodiverse society and the power of community. Vicky leads for Synergy both online and in our SEND schools - she brings sunshine and joy to the children she teaches.
