ParaStars Dance™ - Progressive Dance for Juniors
ParaStars Dance™ Progressive Dance for Juniors is a seated dance & movement class for children with a disability or long-term health condition. Upbeat music and fun dance moves will boost resilience and fitness. Children will improve flexibility, muscle strength & well-being, whilst seated at home or in a shared setting. Benefits include stress reduction, aiding flexibility, toning and fitness & helping to boost the immune system. These specialist seated dance classes for children also focus on posture and breathing to maximise the experience and technique, improving general well-being.
**Classes include some exercises for the upper body only and some exercises for the upper and lower body to offer diversity and levels**.

Vicky
Vicky has been dancing as long as she can remember! She has a BA (Hons) Dance Degree from the University of Chichester and a MA module in Dance Writing & Criticism. She is also a qualified Para Dance UK Inclusive Dance Teacher. For the past decade, she has been working specifically with young people with additional needs. She absolutely loves working with young people, as they continue to inspire and teach her. They always "bring bags of enthusiasm and energy to dance class". Vicky works with children with a range of needs including PMLD and has experience running wheelchair dance classes. She wholeheartedly believes in a neurodiverse society and the power of community. Vicky leads for Synergy both online and in our SEND schools - she brings sunshine and joy to the children she teaches.
