Pilates for Adults
(beginner)
These mat based classes concentrate on developing core strength and stability. Benefits include improving posture, flexibility, strength and potential relief of back pain, reduced stress, stronger core and enhanced well being. The moves are designed to help you safely increase the length and stretchability of your muscles. Pilates also increases your energy levels and promotes weight loss. Participants learn breathing techniques in preparation for progression, as well as focusing on posture, and tailoring exercises for each participant's personal range of movement.
The lessons focus on: Breath & Movement, Core Alignment, Rotational Waist Work, Leg & Hip Work, Series of 5 Combination of above, Back Focus, Arm Focus and a sprinkle of Cardio and a combination of all.
This course includes a system of exercises designed for beginners to improve physical strength, flexibility & posture and enhanced mental awareness. Pilates is a low impact exercise comprising controlled movements that enhance your balance, core strength, mobility, flexibility and mood. Boost your wellbeing by being in the moment, as our leader focuses on the smaller and deeper muscles that support your structure and enhance your overall health.
**For health and safety and for your own understanding of Pilates, it is strongly advised to attend at least 4 beginner's Pilates sessions**

Natalie is an experienced teacher and “industry pro” who has been working in the fitness industry since 2002 and has been specialising in yoga and functional movement since 2007. Her passion lies in “helping others to achieve better and safer movement within their own bodies”, which is why Natalie was keen to work with ParaStars Yoga®; “to reach out to those who are unable to attend her classes in person so that they too can benefit from her enthusiasm of free movement”.
